Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I specialise in Brecon Beacons Photography and I am fascinated by the how the changing conditions effect the landscape and of your enjoyment of it. A landscape can be so very powerful!
I believe that living in South Wales makes us particularly lucky because we have a massively varied landscape, from the renowned Beaches of the Gower & the Waterfalls of the South Valleys to the Mountains of the Brecon Beacons National Park and I love to get out and try and capture some of the beauty on camera.
My love of the outdoors began around 15 years ago when I worked for a well known Outdoor Holiday company as an Activity Instructor, giving basic instruction in a wide range of Outdoor Pursuits to Children and Young People from around the UK. Through my employment with these I developed a number of hobbies and interests such as Kayaking, Rock Climbing and Hill Walking and my passion for being outside regardless of the weather just seemed to grow and grow. As this love developed so did my frustrations at not being able to capture the beauty of what I was seeing on my Point & Shoot Camera. So in 2013 after finding myself with some spare cash burning a whole in my pocket I took the plunge and bought my first DSLR Camera and haven’t looked back since!
